Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume patient scheduling for medical appointments and healthcare services
- Coordinate schedules efficiently based on provider availability, patient needs, and insurance requirements
- Verify and track Medicaid authorizations and approvals for services
- Communicate with patients regarding appointment details, changes, and follow-up needs
- Answer incoming calls and respond to scheduling inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and scheduling systems
