The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting recruitment and hiring efforts by sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified staff. This position plays a key role in ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet client needs by maintaining a strong candidate pipeline and delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with recruiting, operations, scheduling, and clinical teams to support organizational growth and workforce development.

Educational/Professional Experience and Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare, home care, recruiting, staffing, or case management preferred
  • Familiarity with HHAeXchange EMR or similar electronic medical record systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic medical or clinical understanding preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding
  • Post and maintain job advertisements across job boards, social media platforms, and other recruitment channels
  • Source qualified candidates through online platforms, referrals, networking, job fairs, community outreach, and educational partnerships
  • Conduct phone screenings and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, orientations, and onboarding activities
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Facilitate background checks, reference checks, credential verification, and pre-employment requirements
  • Ensure all hiring documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal systems
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, hiring trends, and staffing needs to proactively support workforce growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, training programs, workforce development agencies, and community organizations
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach activities
  • Collaborate with scheduling and operations teams to understand staffing needs and recruitment priorities
  • Support employee referral and recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Conduct new hire follow-up and engagement activities to promote retention and employee satisfaction
  • Assist with orientation coordination and onboarding processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information
  • Perform other duties as assigned
