Responsibilities

  • Interpret rules and apply judgment on practical solutions relating to regulatory reporting.
  • Provide oversight and challenge to business units concerning complex structured transactions.
  • Lead responses to industry‑focused initiatives and represent the firm in industry working groups.
  • Coordinate internal action across S&T.
  • Participate in regulatory visits and examinations.
  • Execute second‑line monitoring program across all related reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in large‑shareholder, short‑selling and/or takeover panel reporting at a complex financial institution.
  • Professional qualification (law or accountancy) preferred.
  • Experience in product and investment banking, ideally in‑house at a bank.
  • Good understanding of EMEA compliance issues, relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships of trust with the Legal and Compliance department and business units.
  • High level of attention to detail and a passion for excellence.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience is generally expected.
