About Firm wide AI The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and provide education on AI technologies to other departments within the company. What you will be doing: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Governance, Solutions & Strategy resource to join our team at Morgan Stanley. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with business areas across the firm to design, develop, and implement Generative AI-based control and to enhance processes. This role will liaise with business areas and centralized AI teams to accelerate adoption of AI-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end governance: Oversee the GenAI projects from inception to deployment, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Engaging Tech to establish technology controls. Operations and Risk Management: Partner with business units to implement GenAI solutions to optimize operational tasks and enhance risk management strategies. Strategic Planning and Execution: Execute a strategic plan for the GenAI team, aligned with business goals. Monitor the performance and impact of GenAI use cases, providing regular updates to senior leaders. Support Regional Business Leadership: Provide GenAI expertise and support to EMEA regional business leaders ensuring alignment with global use cases. Tailor GenAI solutions to meet specific regional requirements while maintaining consistency with global standards. PMO Teams: Lead projects and act as the primary point of contact between Firmwide AI and regional AI initiatives, e.g. EU AI Act. AI Market Connectivity: Stay informed of latest AI trends and technologies and incorporate them into product strategy and development as appropriate. Attend AI industry conferences to gather strategic intelligence and insight. What we\’re looking for: Experience (Interest) with Generative AI strategy / product management / experimentation or Innovation Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to leverage their network and knowledge base to define abstract concepts from inception Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and technologies. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Proven experience in program or project management Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, JIRA, etc.) Understanding of Tech governance framework.
