The Morgan Stanley Fixed Income MENA Sales Off-Cycle Internship Program is based in London, runs for 6 or 9 months and is aimed at students who are required to complete a long-term internship as part of their studies or have already graduated. Please note that the successful candidate will need to be available to start in 2025 for a period of six months.

The Fixed Income division deals in incredibly diverse products, including interest rate and currency products, credit products, derivatives and commodities.

Responsibilities
•   The Sales Assistant will provide Sales Support to the MENA Fixed Income Sales Team based in London.
•   Sat on the Sales desk, you will be required to regularly liaise with Salespeople, Traders, Operations, Regulatory, NMR and IT to ensure a smooth front-to-back workflow. You will also be required to follow up on KYC and client onboarding
•   Responsible for Administrative Support, bookings and Post Trade query management for:
Flow rate and Credit products (including both cash products such as Government Bonds and derivatives such as Interest Rates Swaps) FX products (including spot, forwards and options)
•   General desk support and ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications and Requirements
•   You are able to start an internship between January – March in 2025 for a period of 6 months
•   2:1 minimum degree level
•  To apply for this internship position, fluent Arabic and English are required
•   You have a keen interest in the financial markets and the drive and desire to work in a fast-paced, team orientated environment
•  Knowledge in the products is preferred
•   Curious, resilient, high attention to detail and ability to work in fast-pace environment
