About the Opportunity

Our client is a specialist technical services organisation providing calibration, testing, inspection, and compliance solutions to customers operating in highly regulated industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Trainee Calibration Engineer to join their team based in Bridport. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical or mechanical background who is keen to develop a specialist engineering career. Full training will be provided through a structured 12-month development programme, leading to competency in calibration and inspection services across a wide range of precision equipment. The role combines laboratory-based work with regular travel to customer sites across the UK, offering variety, technical development, and hands-on experience.

The Role

As a Trainee Calibration Engineer, you will support the calibration, testing, and repair of equipment used within sectors including aerospace, pharmaceutical, engineering, healthcare, and manufacturing. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training while developing the technical skills required to carry out calibrations both in the laboratory and at customer locations.
