My client is a large membership body and regulator, who set, uphold, and advance Veterinary standards.They are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Regulatory Advisor to join their esteemed team on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE) for a maternity cover role. Purpose:
Assist with the work of the Standards Committee, provide advice to veterinary professionals and the public, and support sub-committees and complaint reviews., Standards Committee and Advice:

Support the Standards and Advice Lead and Head of Legal Services (Standards) with committee work, including drafting papers.

Draft changes to the Code of Professional Conduct and Supporting Guidance.

Formulate advice on specific issues.

Assist sub-committees and the Ethics Review Panel.

Provide professional conduct advice via telephone or email.

Participate in projects and working parties.
Development of Best Practice:

Collaborate on developing standards and auditing best practices.

Manage or assist in managing projects related to standards and advice protocols.

Assist with in-house training within the Professional Conduct Department and the College.
Administration:

Prepare agendas and papers for the Standards Committee.

Support the registration and analysis of advice files.

Customer-focused approach with compassion and fairness.

Clear, logical, and practical problem-solving abilities.

Strong writing and drafting skills.

Proficient in IT, including word processing and content management databases.

Excellent telephone manner and team collaboration skills.

Experience with regulatory authorities and committee support is highly desirable.
