An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Information Governance Analyst to join a leading regulatory organisation. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with data protection, FOI legislation and information governance requirements, while supporting transparency, accountability and risk management across the business.
Reporting to the Governance and Assurance Manager, you will lead on complex information governance matters, provide expert advice to stakeholders across the organisation and ensure compliance with data protection and information rights legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating responses to Freedom of Information requests and data subject rights requests, ensuring statutory deadlines are met
- Managing complex information requests, including researching, analysing, redacting and preparing responses
- Advising colleagues on disclosure obligations and information rights legislation
- Acting as the information governance lead for procurement activities, reviewing contracts, supplier due diligence and data processing arrangements
- Advising procurement and business teams on data protection and information security requirements
