We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice in Epping that is seeking a talented Senior Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified professional or an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidate who enjoys a broad accounting role and wants to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services, helping businesses maintain compliance, improve financial visibility and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio
- Managing bookkeeping duties accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Supporting clients with accounting queries and day-to-day financial matters
- Assisting with financial reporting and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and financial documentation
- Building positive and professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Supporting continuous process improvements within the practice
