Working within a friendly, collaborative and down-to-earth small team of around 10 employees, you will be at the heart of the business, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of an impressive Grade II listed building and providing an exceptional workplace experience for both employees and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management and smooth running of the office and building facilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants occupying the sublet office floors
- Manage tenant enquiries, building-related issues and service requests professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs and contractor visits
- Liaise with landlords, suppliers, contractors and external service providers
- Ensure health and safety standards and compliance requirements are maintained
- Manage and support the Receptionist and two Housekeeping staff members
- Monitor office supplies, services and facilities budgets
- Coordinate office projects and improvements where required
- Ensure all office spaces remain professional, welcoming and operational at all times
- Provide practical support to the wider team and contribute to a positive office culture
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as an Office Manager or similar office operations role
- Strong experience managing office facilities and building-related services
- Confident handling supplier, contractor and tenant relationships
- Experience supervising or managing support staff
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Practical problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment
- Experience within professional services, investment management, asset management or similar sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
