THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading law firm, who is seeking a corporate Legal Executive Assistant, who can operate successfully and provide client and business focused support to a team of Associates.

THE ROLE:

  • Take ownership of team workflow, delegate tasks, and collaborate with central support departments as needed.
  • Oversee inboxes and calendars, scheduling meetings and managing logistics efficiently.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact, handling telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and representing the team professionally both internally and externally.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents with a keen eye for detail, adhering to house style and quality standards.
  • Respond to tasks promptly, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Manage billing and compliance processes, generate bills, and liaise with Client Administrators to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Submit expense claims in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Executive Assistants, central teams, and Legal Secretaries to support holiday or absence coverage.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resolve issues proactively, and uphold confidentiality and diplomacy in all tasks.

  • Proven experience providing high-quality support to a busy legal team in a professional environment, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly convey information and update teams on delays.
  • Confident in adapting to change and taking initiative to anticipate team needs.
  • Strong ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Diplomatic, with good judgement and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
