Key Responsibilities

  • Processing transactions on both client and office accounts
  • Managing incoming/outgoing payments and credit card receipts
  • Posting bills, credit notes, and recording disbursements
  • Handling supplier invoices and international payments
  • Managing client matter closures and retained client funds
  • Opening and maintaining supplier accounts and ledgers
  • Calculating client interest and updating account statements
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial procedures
  • Producing time and financial reports
  • Liaising with suppliers to reconcile account statements
  • Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
  • Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other general IT systems
  • Experience with P4W (Partner for Windows) legal accounting software is highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
