Job Description
- Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new clients within the construction sector through networking, cold calling, and relationship management.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong client partnerships, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Candidate Sourcing: Attract, screen, and interview skilled professionals across a range of construction roles (e.g., trades, technical, and management).
- Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end process including job advertising, candidate sourcing, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up to date with construction industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment processes adhere to employment legislation, industry regulations, and company standards.
- Performance Targets: Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales and recruitment targets (placements, revenue, and activity levels).
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within construction recruitment (temporary, contract, or permanent placements).
- Strong network of candidates and clients within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
