This is a hands-on role supporting partners and fee earners across departments, offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. You\’ll be stepping into a collaborative environment where adaptability and initiative are key.About the Role:As a Float PA, you\’ll provide seamless cover for Legal PAs during holidays, absences, and appointments. You\’ll manage inboxes, coordinate diaries, prepare legal documents, and support billing and client communications. This role demands someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of professionalism.Key Responsibilities:Typing and preparing legal documents for dispatch or court filing.Ongoing mailbox and document management.Diary management for meetings, hearings, and events.Coordinating billing processes and entering time records.Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, and third parties.Conducting Land Registry.Managing travel arrangements and creating travel packs.Supporting reception and switchboard when needed.Assisting with client meetings, refreshments, and room setup.Handling expense claims and maintaining float cover notes.Preparing client care letters, conflict searches, and archiving files.What We\’re Looking For:Previous experience in a legal family support role.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work independently and flexibly across teams.Professional, personable, and detail-oriented approach.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and enjoys being a key part of a high-performing legal support team.
