A well-established and highly respected professional services organisation based in Central London is seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to join their Operations team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within facilities, workplace services, or business support. Key Responsibilities:- Support departmental budget monitoring and expenditure tracking using Excel.
- Maintain accurate records relating to facilities spend and operational activities.
- Assist with office security processes, including access passes and visitor management.
- Distribute internal and external mail and coordinate courier services.
- Support daily messenger and delivery requirements.
- Manage stationery ordering, stock control and distribution.
- Assist with document archiving and records management.
- Support office moves and furniture relocation projects.
- Provide administrative support relating to office systems and telephony.
- Maintain stock levels of kitchen, refreshment and office supplies.
- Carry out printing, binding and document preparation tasks.
- Assist with general workplace and facilities administration.
- Support ad hoc projects and operational activities as required.
- Ensure communal office areas remain fully stocked and operational.
- Follow company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work using initiative and manage priorities effectively.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
- Strong team-working abilities and willingness to support colleagues.
