An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised media and entertainment brand as an Allocator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their merchandising career within a fast-paced international business with a truly global presence.
The Role
- Working closely with commercial, retail and operations teams, you will be responsible for ensuring stock is allocated effectively across multiple channels and markets, supporting product availability while maximising sales opportunities.
- You will play a key role in inventory planning, order management and stock optimisation, providing accurate reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock allocation across multiple product categories and markets
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions
- Analyse sales performance and stock movements to identify opportunities and risks
- Support forecasting and merchandising planning processes
- Maintain accurate product and inventory data within internal systems
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics and commercial teams to ensure timely stock availability
- Produce regular reports on stock performance, sales trends and KPIs
- Support seasonal launches, promotional activity and new product introductions
About You
- Previous experience in Merchandising, Allocation, Inventory Management or Supply Chain
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving commercial environment
- Experience with merchandising, ERP or inventory management systems would be advantageous
