Our client is a prestigious professional body for internal auditing, offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Events Executive. THE ROLE:
- Event Administration: Manage bookings, respond to inquiries, track delegate numbers, and update event details in the CRM and website.
- Face-to-Face Event Delivery: Source venues, negotiate contracts, coordinate logistics (timing, catering, AV), prepare badges, and oversee event setup and registration.
- Presenter & Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure timely submission of presentations, brief presenters, and facilitate smooth event execution.
- On-Site Event Management: Attend events to handle logistics, manage registration, liaise with venues, and arrange marketing collateral.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Send feedback forms, issue CPE certificates, and ensure proper documentation.
- Virtual Event Delivery: Set up events on digital platforms, conduct dry-runs, manage presentations, send joining instructions, and provide technical support during live events.
THE PERSON:
- 2+ years in event administration, managing both virtual and in-person events.
- Desirable knowledge or experience in AV technical production.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail with accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, adaptable to various audiences.
- Proficient in online event platforms (ON24 preferred) and website publishing (Umbraco preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Numeracy skills for budget and data management.
