We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our team working to deliver a large multi‑discipline framework in the Inverness area. You will be delivering SSEN Onshore projects including substations, overhead lines, and UGC.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall leadership, direction, management, and supervision of multi‑disciplinary projects to appropriate health and safety, time, cost, and quality targets.
- Provide strategic planning, leadership, and support to project operations.
- Implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified.
- Consult effectively with customers & stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate financial reports and spreadsheets to stakeholders while vigorously managing project costs and ensuring accurate expenditure tracking.
- Coach and develop project staff, addressing performance issues appropriately.
- Ensure all services and installations meet required standards and certifications while promoting service excellence, best practices, and sustainability in line with Perfect Delivery philosophy.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Display leadership skills alongside experience of delivering large scale projects.
- Experience within the Energy sector would be desirable.
- Requirements to be educated to a degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
