40 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, half hour lunch
We are looking to recruit a Social Value Officer to join our Social Value Team in Westminster.
About the Role
Within this role, youll be responsible for maintaining a network of external stakeholders and community partners, to include training providers, residents and public sector contacts, whilst ensuring social value commitments are delivered, as outlined, meeting required deadlines and quality.
My will have full responsibility for the reporting of social value using Social Value Portal and HACT while also completing case studies, social media and production of newsletters, youll have responsibility for our apprentice training programme, being the lead point of contact for schools, colleges and other provisions for coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings, mock interviews, site visits and mentoring.
About you
You will have a strong background in social housing and social value delivery, with proven experience of achieving targets and delivering successful outcomes against KPI specifications. You will have experience across a range of social value initiatives, including employment opportunities, pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, schools and colleges engagement, community volunteering, resident training, and supply chain engagement.
You will be highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong written English is essential, including the ability to produce professional correspondence and respond to complaints clearly and confidently. You will also possess good IT skills and be comfortable using a variety of computer systems and software.
As an effective communicator, you will be able to build positive relationships and adapt your approach when engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You will be passionate about delivering excellent services, committed to achieving positive outcomes for customers, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
This role is office-based, so you must be able to work from our main office in Maida Vale with no hybrid working arrangement.
