We are looking to recruit a Wet Works Engineer / Tiler to join our team in Westminster.
About the Role
To carry out high-quality tiling works to bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards in both empty (void) and occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out wall and floor tiling to bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, and wet rooms
- Prepare surfaces, including removing old tiles, levelling, waterproofing, and priming
- Apply grout and sealant to a high standard, ensuring durability and finish
- Undertake minor associated works (e.g. patch plastering, basic carpentry, making good)
- Work in both void properties and occupied homes, respecting residents at all times
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Diagnose defects and report additional works required
- Complete all paperwork, job records, and digital updates accurately and on time
- Liaise professionally with residents, supervisors, schedulers, and other trades
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
About You
Candidates will hold an NVQ Level 2 Tiling qualification along with a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card. With previous experience within a similar role and excellent working health & safety knowledge, you’ll have the ability to work in all weather, operating small hand tools and will be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
