£34,000 - £38,000 per annum + Company Van + Excellent Benefits

42.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, half hour lunch

We are looking to recruit a Damp and Mould Operative to join our Westminster R&M team.

About the role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out responsive painting and decorating to occupied properties, including glossing, emulsion, and papering, in addition to undertaking mould wash and eradication treatments. You’ll ensure effective preparation techniques, producing “perfect” finishes to all applications, whilst delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers always come first.

You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve an excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates should hold a relevant City & Guilds qualification or NVQ in their trade, along with a Skilled CSCS Card and strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Customer-focused and experienced in working within occupied properties, you will be committed to delivering high-quality repairs right the first time and within agreed timescales. A keen eye for detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a solid understanding of damp and mould diagnosis and treatment are essential for success in this role.

Due to the provision of a company vehicle for work purposes, applicants must hold a full UK manual driving licence and have held it for a minimum of 12 months. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who hold an automatic-only licence.
