Morgan Sindall Property Services is currently looking to recruit skilled and reliable Damp & Mould Treatment Operatives to join our dedicated team working on our Westminster social housing contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a respected, forward-thinking business that places customer service and community care at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
· Carry out damp and mould treatment works within occupied and void social housing properties
· Diagnose causes of damp, condensation, and mould issues and undertake appropriate remedial action
· Apply anti-fungal washes, paints, and other specialist treatments as required
· Complete minor plastering, decorating, and associated repair works following treatment
· Ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
· Deliver excellent customer service, respecting residents’ homes and privacy at all times
· Accurately complete job sheets and paperwork, updating supervisors as required
About You
Proven experience in damp and mould treatment and general property maintenance
Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, C&G Craft or Level 2 in relevant trade or equivalent or working towards, CSCS Card - Blue or working towards with excellent working H & S knowledge.
Customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time. With the ability to work as a team and independently, you must also have good knowledge of damp treatments to fulfil this role.
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
