We are looking to recruit two Joiners to join our Repairs and Maintenance team in Basildon. Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you'll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work to include minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting etc within a social housing setting. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Carry out trade repairs and maintenance work including minor plumbing, joinery, tiling, kitchen and bathroom fitting in a social housing setting.
- Respond to and plan repairs for both occupied and void properties.
- Use a handheld device to receive and complete assigned tasks, working efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry / Joinery or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Customer focused with experience working in void properties.
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (or working towards holding one).
- Passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
- Valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months (a company vehicle will be provided for work use only).
- Advantageous to have social housing experience.
