We are looking to recruit a Painter & Decorator to join us working on our East End Homes contract, based from The Campus, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6AE.
About the Role
Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out responsive and planned painting and decorating to both occupied and void properties, including glossing, emulsion, papering, and addressing damp and mould issues. You’ll ensure effective preparation techniques, producing perfect finishes on all applications, whilst delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers come first. Being multi-skilled in plastering and tiling would be advantageous. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.
About You
Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, C&G Craft or Level 2 in a relevant trade or equivalent, or be working towards it. A CSCS Card - Blue or working towards it, with excellent health & safety knowledge, is required. You should be customer-focused with experience working in both occupied and void properties, with a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time and on the first visit. You must be able to work as part of a team and independently, and have good knowledge of damp treatments. A valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for at least 12 months is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use only.
