Overview Tackley Talented people are the key to our success. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Project Manager to join our Rail business unit on the Tackley AFA and Bridleway Scheme to deliver minor station improvements and oversee the installation of a new footbridge and lifts at Tackley Station. This will include the permanent closure of a level crossing and the installation of a new Bridleways.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To deliver projects on time, within budget, safely and to the required quality.
  • Planning project cost controls and forecasting.
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and development for your team.
  • Manage financial performance, risks, and contractual obligations.
  • Foster collaborative working and communication with stakeholders.
  • Safety and compliance management.
  • Risk management and quality assurance management.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications:

  • Project Manager or Site Agent Experience
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent construction knowledge.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, and risks.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant technical discipline
  • A solid understanding of legislative compliance, including H&S, environment, and employment law.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to assess value and evaluate variations.

About The Rail Business Unit:

Millions of people rely on Britain’s rail network to take them safely and efficiently across the country every day. Our customers receive a multi-disciplined service covering electrification, power supply, tunnelling and a full range of civil engineering and building capabilities including structures, lineside infrastructure, and station enhancements.
