We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Project Engineer to join our team on the Merseyrail Framework, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the Electrical and Telecoms works associated with the delivery of the framework.
- Collaborate with the project delivery team and interface with external stakeholders and our supply chain to influence the development of design solutions that optimally balance time, cost, quality, and safety.
- Support the project manager in project engineering activities.
- Support a scope of work within a construction project on behalf of the operations/project lead.
- Deliver the assigned scope through agreed phases of the project life cycle to achieve successful completion.
- Deliver work that meets legislative and project requirements in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards while meeting customer satisfaction criteria.
Qualifications
- Rail M&E and/or telecoms experience.
- Experience working on existing or new railway stations.
- Good working knowledge of the rail standards.
- Knowledge of rail best practices.
