We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Bid Writer to join our Rail Work Winning team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of exciting rail and infrastructure opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about creating high-quality written content, keen to develop their skills in a growing proposals function, and ready to take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Working in a hybrid environment, combining remote working with time in our Leeds office and occasional site visits, you will play a key role in helping the business secure new projects by producing compelling, customer-focused tender responses.
You will collaborate closely with technical experts and stakeholders across the business while contributing to the ongoing development of proposal systems, processes, and content management practices.
- Role Responsibilities
- Author high-quality bid and tender responses, ensuring content is clear, persuasive, and aligned with client requirements.
- Support the development of technical quality submissions for live rail and infrastructure tender opportunities.
- Maintain and update project case studies, evidence libraries, and knowledge management systems.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of capability statements, award submissions, and pre-qualification materials.
- Coordinate graphics, document formatting, and final submission production activities.
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to gather information and develop compelling written content.
