The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of passionate and dedicated individuals. We are looking for a senior quantity surveyor who has a civils background and meets the following criteria:
- Educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent commercially related discipline) and working towards professional membership of RICS/CIOB.
- Detailed knowledge of company management systems including commercial and financial (Commercial Manager/COINS/Sphere).
- Demonstrable experience on large power infrastructure / OHL or substation projects preferred.
- NEC experience essential.
- Evidence of managing large value subâcontracts; role requires a selfâsufficient individual.
Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial expertise to aid delivery of the contracted work by taking the commercial lead in a geographically focused team.
- Ensure provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves appropriate commercial targets.

About Our Energy Business:
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators. Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying and jointing of cables (fluid filled and XLPE), substations and overhead line, new build, repair and refurbishment services.
