We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Engineering Manager to join our team on the CP7 Eastern Renewals Framework, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting schemes. The role is for a DPE and PE civils for the CP7 Eastern renewals framework and to act as PE on the CP7 Western Renewals framework.

The principal responsibilities will be to provide continuous assurance and discharge the duties of the DPE and PE.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead on design assurance and oversee transition into construction assurance.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external engineering teams.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time, to budget, and in compliance with project standards.
  • Provide engineering leadership, mentoring, and support to CREs and the wider team.
  • Manage assurance processes, including surveillance and audit regimes.
  • Foster collaboration with joint ventures, and alliance partners.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • Senior-level experience in civil engineering design management and construction across highways, rail, energy, or water sectors.
  • Experience managing large tender teams, including price and quality adjudications.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including contracts, procurement models, and risk management.
  • Proven track record of managing assurance regimes and design processes in tender or contract environments.
  • Previous DPE experience required.
  • Experience working in joint ventures, alliances, or other collaborative delivery models.
