Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager – HV M&E to lead the delivery of a major infrastructure project as part of National Grid's Great Grid Partnership (GGP).
This role will oversee the construction of a new Grid Supply Point (substation) at Bryncir, as well as substation extensions at Pentir and Trawsfynydd, in North Wales. The project is currently in the ECI phase, with mobilisation and site access scheduled for July 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project from a safety-first, culturally positive, and behaviourally strong standpoint
- Set standards and lead by example across the project team
- Prepare and implement Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) throughout project delivery
- Manage HV M&E activities through all project phases
- Coordinate with key stakeholders, including National Grid, to ensure compliance and successful outcomes
About You:
- Significant HV M&E project experience is essential
- Experience delivering substation construction/extension projects
- Knowledge of or experience working with National Grid is highly desirable
- Proven leadership skills and ability to drive high standards on complex infrastructure projects
