Role: Project Engineer Civils
Location: Clyde
We are looking for a Project Engineer Civil's bias to join our team supporting the Clyde framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex civil construction projects, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and safety protocols required in the nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope, and schedule.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop project plans and schedules, and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Review design documents and construction specifications, and ensure they are in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements and deliverables.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets and costs, including change orders and risk mitigation strategies.
To thrive in the role you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Previous experience in civil construction project management.
- Experience in the nuclear industry is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
