Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a People Business Partner – Operations who thrives in a data-rich, process-driven environment and can provide outstanding people administrative leadership. You’ll be a pivotal player in transforming HR data into actionable insights, improving system efficiencies, and ensuring compliance across our infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity
This role is a pivotal role within our divisional people function, overseeing People administration and systems capability. You’ll lead a focused team delivering high-quality support to the wider People function and business, ensuring data accuracy, reporting excellence, and operational compliance.
You’ll also act as the key liaison between Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and our Shared Service teams, driving improvements and supporting People change programmes.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Manage: Oversee the People administrative team, ensuring accurate, timely support across all employee lifecycle processes
Champion Data: Maintain and audit employee records and MI to ensure integrity and compliance
MI Capability: Build and maintain robust reporting tools using platforms like PowerBI, delivering insight and workforce trends
Systems Improvement: Coordinate upgrade and enhancement requests, supporting testing and training with system users
Partner Strategically: Collaborate with the wider People Team and business managers to provide meaningful data-led advice
Support Compliance: Ensure alignment with employment law, payroll and finance integration, and policy documentation
Lead Change: Support People transformation initiatives and foster continuous improvement in admin processes and reporting
What We’re Looking For
Strong administrative experience in an HR/People function
Exceptional attention to detail and utmost integrity when handling confidential data
Proficiency in Excel (PowerBI knowledge desirable)
Good understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment law
Proven ability to collaborate across HR, IT and Finance functions
Clear communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring capability
Analytical mindset, project management aptitude, and proactive problem solving
