  • Provide commercial interface support, working with the commercial lead to ensure successful delivery.
  • Produce accurate commercial reports and offer informed advice to achieve commercial targets.
  • Lead subcontract procurement, administration, and final account resolution.
  • Contribute to internal and external commercial performance targets.
  • Maintain accurate and timely communication of commercial and project data.
  • Identify and elevate emerging risks or issues to project leadership.

  • Manage upstream and downstream change control.
  • Support accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Work flexibly across office, home, and site locations, with some travel as required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a commercially related discipline, with intent to work toward professional membership (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
  • Experience working within a project commercial team or operating independently.
  • Experience using contract management systems such as CEMAR or FastDraft.
  • Civil engineering experience with NEC Option C awareness.
  • Previous experience on large projects desirable (experience with a Tier 1 contractor considered an advantage).
  • Civils or highways experience highly desirable, energy experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong experience in managing or supporting the management of subcontractors (including smaller packages).
  • Industry experience, working under strategic and management guidance.

What is in it for you?

  • Flexible and adaptable working.
  • Family friendly policies and work/life approach.
  • Mentoring programmes and continuous learning support.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
