We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Information Controller to join our team on the Loch Na Cathrach & Fasnakyle-Bingally project. The successful candidate will offer setup support, while managing and maintaining the project Common Data Environment (CDE) in line with company, customer, and project.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Information Management Processes in line with IS019650, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
  • Ensure permissions and projects are set up efficiently and maintained, feeding into documents such as the project MIDP to manage all of the project documentation.
  • Input document data into standard registers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date; controlled up to date documents need to be distributed to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Issue and receive controlled documentation; log distribution and create electronic transmittals for the project team, clients, and suppliers in line with the companies’ standards and procedures.
  • Support the Information Management team with issuing, receiving, and tracking engineering and supplier deliverables through to project close-out and handover.
  • Experience with photocopying, scanning, and quality checking metadata and documents alongside assisting with quality checks and audits of document databases, identifying and correcting anomalies, providing project support overall.
  • Maintain accurate document registers and action lists while ensuring team compliance with document control and numbering procedures.
  • Act as the focal point for all Information Management queries, providing practical support and training on existing systems and procedures.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous Information Management or Document Control experience.
  • Knowledge of using M365 applications and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience setting up and using electronic document management systems, such as Trimble ViewPoint for Projects.
  • Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports while being able to rapidly input data and retrieve records and information.
  • Educated to NVQ level or equivalent.
