Administrator commercial and supply chain Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is looking for a proactive and organised Administrator / Commercial Assistant to support our Commercial and Supply Chain team. This role has been created in response to an increased demand in cyber security compliance and administrative workload, alongside broader commercial support activities. You will play a key role in ensuring critical compliance requirements are met, while also improving the efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day commercial operations. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will provide structured administrative support, enabling commercial and supply chain professionals to focus on strategic and high-value activities. Responsibilities
- Support the management and coordination of cyber security compliance requirements, including document tracking, monitoring, and supplier engagement
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date and properly organised
- Provide administrative support to the Commercial and Supply Chain team, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently
- Manage and maintain resource tracking spreadsheets and support reporting activities
- Monitor and chase invoice statuses, ensuring timely processing and accurate record keeping
- Assist with general commercial administrative tasks, supporting cost and procurement processes
- Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation, and record meeting minutes where required
- Maintain organised filing systems and document control processes
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to obtain information and resolve queries
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Act as a reliable and professional point of contact within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative working approach
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, commercial support, or office-based role
- Experience working with data, spreadsheets, and document management systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with data and maintaining accurate records
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive and adaptable approach to changing priorities and workloads
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
