About our Nuclear team: Our nuclear capabilities include services from operational reactor support, new build and decommissioning, to nuclear defence facilities and more sensitive projects within highly regulated and secure sites. With an ever-expanding nuclear portfolio, we are proud to support our customers in installing and maintaining existing assets.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Foreman with a strong background in Civils work to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating primarily Civils based projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, inline with Employers requirements, on time, and to the highest standards.
This will involve working closely with Project Controls, Engineering, Design and Construction teams where you will be responsible for ensuring deliverables and tasks are undertaken with resources assigned to align to agreed schedule, budget and quality requirements. You will be accountable for the success of the works package and responsible for guiding and developing the team for the works.
Accountability for the deliverables requires the successful applicant to prepare all respective documentation, administer an NEC4 contract and work closely with a Planner and Commercial Manager.
Key responsibilities:- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and standards.
- Supervise supplier works teams to ensure compliance with RAMS and MS standard processes.
- Work with site management and supply chain to plan works and provide input into Methodology of Works.
- Monitor and record daily outputs.
- Ensure workforce briefings are carried out in line with MS standards and checks are carried out to confirm understanding.
- Assist in the planning of work, including material procurement and resource allocation.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or queries.
- Ensure that the quality of work is maintained to a high standard.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
- 5+ years of experience as a Foreman in a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering works.
- Experience in managing and supervising teams.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Possession of a valid driving license.
- Previous experience delivering projects in nuclear environments or similar highly regulated environments (desirable).

- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a commitment to safety and quality excellence.
- Previous experience as a Foreman in a relevant field.
- SMSTS 5-day certification and relevant industry-specific qualifications (desirable).
