Quality Assurance Manager Coventry, with site visits nationally. Talented people are the key to our success. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Quality Assurance Manager to join our team working on our Gatwick Pier 3 Project and wider business unit when required. Our Quality Assurance specialists are dedicated to enhancing compliance with our Integrated Management System and ensuring the highest standards in the quality of our project deliverables.
Role Responsibilities
- Establishing a right-first-time culture across the project team that puts quality at the heart of project delivery.
- Ensuring the project team implements appropriate quality management arrangements, supported by competent resources and clear delivery plans.
- Ensuring quality systems and processes are fully aligned with business requirements.
- Developing and managing a business unit and sector-specific audit plan, including quality-related investigations such as root cause analysis (RCA).
- Establishing procedures to capture lessons learned across the project team and monitor the implementation of continual improvements.
- Supporting quality meetings and forums by developing and presenting training and performance reports.
- Establishing effective working relationships with clients, business units, and leadership teams, while providing guidance to Quality Assurance Advisors to support their duties.
- Acting as the point of contact for all business unit quality assurance matters and contributing to the strategic approach for Water / Highways quality assurance.
- Developing and implementing specific KPIs for business units and clients.
- Safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information against unauthorised access, modification, or destruction.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a history of successful management in complex, multi-interface organisations.
- Certified IRCA / CQI Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
- In-depth knowledge of investigation tools and techniques, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Experience in infrastructure or construction environments is highly advantageous.

Currently, we are involved in the Welsh Water AMP7 and AMP8 frameworks and have secured projects with Wessex Water for the next five years. These long‑term framework agreements are part of a national £88 billion investment, requiring a collaborative and agile approach to meet the industry's challenges. Our Highways team delivers comprehensive services, from major national projects to local schemes, improving road journeys for millions daily. With expertise in tunnelling, bridges, and more, we provide end‑to‑end project support, including design, integration, and construction. Current projects include concrete road replacements for National Highways, smart motorway safety enhancements, and widening the A423 for Oxford City Council.
