This role plays a key part in shaping how business demands are turned into successful IT and transformation outcomes. As a core member of the Business IT / Transformation team, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and fellow Business Analysts to translate demand into delivery, reporting into the Senior IS Project Manager. It’s a great opportunity to sit at the heart of business and technology change - shaping demand, influencing delivery, and helping ensure initiatives deliver meaningful outcomes in a highly visible, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business demand and project requirements into clear, structured, and actionable outputs.
- Support the prioritisation of incoming demand in line with business objectives.
- Conduct AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis to identify improvements and efficiencies.
- Work closely with Project Managers to support end-to-end delivery of IT and transformation initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, challenge, and refine requirements.
- Ensure solutions deliver tangible business value and align with strategic goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings where required.
The Person
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an IT, digital, or transformation environment.
- Strong experience analysing and documenting business requirements, user needs, and process changes.
- Demonstrated experience working alongside Project Managers to deliver change initiatives.
- Experience in AS-IS / TO-BE process mapping.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Visio.
- Familiarity with DevOps (desirable).
- Experience within the Infrastructure industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sector-specific processes or regulations.
- Exposure to tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum).
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. BCS) desirable.
