What We Need From You: Reporting to the Head of Technical Services for our Scotland Region, we are looking for a committed Building Services professional who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to a well-established, experienced Technical Team within an industry leading construction business. The role is a fantastic career opportunity for any individual with a passion for the built environment and capable of bringing fresh thinking to the business to align with our philosophy of delivering Intelligent Solutions.
You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK. You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence to travel across our projects, this is predominantly a site-based role to initially support our projects in the Inverness, Highland & Islands area and occasional Central Belt projects.
Are you an experienced Building Services Engineer or Coordinator and looking for that step up in your M&E career? Or an experienced Building Services Consultant looking to take a different career path? Are you an experienced M&E Project Manager looking to experience working with a Tier 1 contractor? You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at SCQF Level 10 (e.g., Degree level), preferably in a Mechanical/Electrical discipline and hold a relevant professional accreditation or ability to obtain.
Be able to demonstrate experience in ensuring the design and installation of M&E services is fully coordinated, buildable, cost effective and complies with contractual obligations. Convey client-facing experience as being the subject matter expert in M&E services and design. Be able to continuously monitor the services design and manage the information flow between the subcontractors and the consultants. Ability to produce M&E design, installation and commissioning programmes, plan and identify customers’ needs and meet those needs and expectation to the highest level of customer service. Have a real passion for the role and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
