This is a full‑time, permanent apprenticeship based in Cambridge. As an Apprentice Site Manager you will gain first‑class on‑the‑job experience while working on our construction sites and developing the skills to support future bids, meet safety and environmental goals, and become the key link between design and contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Working on one of our inspiring construction sites and help preparation for the day.
- Learning about project costs to support future bids.
- Being the first point of contact for general site enquiries for operational support teams and our supply chain.
- Building relationships with our supply chain to ensure safety, health, environmental, and social value goals are achieved.
- Helping promote our thriving industry with enthusiasm and eagerness to travel to our sites.
- Providing key commercial advice on costs and contracts and becoming a link between design and contractors.
- A Level (any combination equivalent to 64 UCAS points) or BTEC National Diploma DDM or Access to HE qualifications with 24 Distinctions 21 Merits or Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 64 UCAS points (may vary depending on FE/HE Establishment).
- A Level/BTEC National Diploma.
- GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent to GCSEs) grade 4 or above, or C or above.
Your salary will start in line with the national living wage for 2026. The Early Careers Development Programme offers salary progression of up to a maximum 5% every 6 months, a company car or car allowance, private health care cover with life assurance up to 4 times your basic salary, a monetary award of £1,000 upon completion of a recognised academic or professional qualification, and access to a wide range of benefits including Employee Support, Holiday Plus Scheme, Pension Scheme, Flexible Working and more.
