Overview
Business Systems Controller (Document Controller) at Morgan Sindall Construction. Full Time (37.5 hours) or Part Time (30/32 hours) – flexible and agile working options available.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager of the Scotland Region, you will work with key functional departments including pre-construction, operations, and commercial to manage the storage, distribution, and filing of all company and project documents in paper and multiple online systems.
Responsibilities include ensuring effective document control and supporting project teams in creating, modifying, and maintaining project documents and records.
What We Need From You
- You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
- You will need to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence; travel to projects across the Central Belt area (e.g., Edinburgh, East Dunbartonshire, Stirling, Ayrshire, Perth, and more) may be required.
- You will be either an experienced construction Document Controller/Site Coordinator, an individual seeking a change into a construction career with transferable skills, or someone starting a career in construction (we are open to training entry-level candidates).
- You will have a qualification or skills at SCQF Level 6 (e.g., Highers, A-levels).
- Ability to work on multiple projects at various stages without close supervision.
- Ability to provide critical technical support to internal and external project teams in the creation, development, modification, and management of project documents and records.
- Strong administration and coordination skills to manage relevant business systems and the sorting, filing, storage, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams.
- Experience in Viewpoint (4Projects) or a similar EDMS is preferred.
- Diligent approach to preparing information for stakeholders and checking information provided by others.
- Demonstrated passion for the industry and delivering high-quality outcomes for projects.
