What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive Maintenance Excellence: Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Solve Engineering Problems: Diagnose and repair machine faults across the site, delivering effective solutions quickly and safely.
  • Lead Fabrication Activities: Complete a range of fabrication work to support maintenance, plant improvements and operational requirements.
  • Support Engineering Projects: Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and site improvement initiatives.
  • Promote Safe Working: Ensure all equipment remains compliant with health, safety and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with stores personnel, contractors and colleagues across the business to keep operations running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Engineer: Apprentice trained, ONC qualified or holding an equivalent Multiskilled or Fabrication Engineering qualification.
  • Maintenance Experience: Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.
  • Fabrication Expertise: Strong practical experience in MIG, TIG and Stick welding.
  • Strong Fault-Finding Skills: Proven maintenance background with the ability to diagnose and resolve engineering issues effectively.
  • Manufacturing Background: Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Communicator: Able to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Positive Team Player: Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
