What You will Be Doing:
- Lead from the front—briefing and debriefing drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent.
- Keep the wheels turning, plan and manage vehicle loading and dispatch with precision.
- Drive continuous improvement, track driver performance using system, deliver coaching, and arrange development sessions with the Driver Standards Manager.
- Maintain service excellence, monitor payloads, telemetry systems, and ensure delivery targets are consistently hit.
- Stay ahead of the curve, collaborate with key teams to ensure full fleet availability and stock continuity.
- Keep the data flowing, accurately input daily fuel usage, driver worksheets, and generate purchase orders.
- Be the go-to leader, oversee warehouse operations and health & safety out-of-hours, ensuring smooth handovers and safe operations.
