What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and testing new material trial mixes
- Coordinating lab trials and external testing programmes
- Working with production and engineering teams to scale up ideas into real-world solutions
- Researching the latest materials and market innovations
- Producing sharp, insightful technical reports
- Supporting the QA team when needed – you will be part of a team that has each other’s backs
What we need from you:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- Solid hands-on knowledge of asphalt, bitumen, and ideally polymer technology
- Practical experience with hot-melt or roofing systems is a huge plus
- A naturally curious mind, problem-solving mindset, and an eye for detail
- Great communication skills, confident writing technical reports and collaborating cross-functionally
