A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join the team at a leading provider of household and personal care products. We are looking to recruit an experienced operations professional who can demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and a background in chemical process or liquid mixing/blending environment.
The Role
- Metrics: SQCDP | RFT | OTIF | Efficiency | Cost Control
- Lead, coach, and empower a team of 4 Team Managers and operators across 24/7 operations
- Drive performance against key SQCDP metrics – Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People
- Deliver >99% OTIF, reduce waste and rework and maximise RFT (Right First Time)
- Oversee 16 filling lines, 20 blow mould machines, and a large-scale blending operation
- Develop and deliver departmental capital & revenue budgets and manage project implementation
- Champion Lean initiatives and continuous improvement to elevate performance and culture
- Drive safety-first culture with proactive systems, audits and HSE standards
- Set a gold standard for people development, appraisals, training and internal succession
Experience required
- Proven track record of managing large teams in a chemical or liquid blending production environment
- 5+ years of management experience, ideally with an HND/Degree or equivalent
- Exceptional understanding and practical application of SQCDP methodology
- Strong financial and project management capabilities
- A natural leader – inspirational, decisive and change-positive
- Deep commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Proficiency in systems like SAP is a strong plus
