We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Procurement Lead to spearhead a dynamic team and drive improvements in procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance. If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for optimisation and sourcing, this is the role for you!

As the Procurement Lead, you will:

  • Lead a small but mighty team of 3 procurement professionals, providing mentorship, training, and continuous performance improvement.
  • Negotiate and manage critical supplier relationships, ensuring on-time deliveries, cost savings, and streamlined operations.
  • Be the front-line driver of improvements, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the purchasing process for a variety of goods, services, and materials while ensuring compliance with all government policies and procedures.
  • Take the lead in supplier management, including recovery plans and regular performance reviews.
  • Drive the development and execution of procurement strategies and influence key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on procurement progress, continuously identifying areas for improvement.

The successful Procurement Lead will have:

  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of material planning and procurement processes, gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and digital procurement platforms, ideally SAP.
  • A track record of delivering cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and driving continuous operational improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
