Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum About the Role An opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer to join a fast-paced, specialist manufacturing business operating in high-performance sectors where quality and turnaround times are critical.
This is the first dedicated Production Engineer within the company and will play a key role in supporting the leadership team by taking ownership of a broad range of engineering and production activities from initial customer requirements through to final delivery.
The role is highly varied, combining technical engineering, customer interaction, production support, and quality responsibilities within a small, agile team.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions. Provide technical support to production teams on the shop floor.
Monitor job progress and help resolve production or technical issues.
Carry out inspection and quality checks on finished components.
Manage concessions, NCRs, and customer quality queries.
Support audits and maintain quality system requirements. Oversee packaging and dispatch of completed parts. Essential Requirements Strong engineering background, ideally within composites or a related manufacturing sector. Comfortable balancing technical engineering work, customer interaction, production support, and quality responsibilities. Package Salary up to £45,000 , depending on experience.
