About the Role
As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on groundbreaking projects, helping to shape the future of industry-leading products. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, performance and reliability of products, ensuring they meet both customer needs and industry regulatory standards.
Key Tasks:
- Mechanical design, analysis and qualification activities for new and existing products
- Perform engineering assessments, calculations and evaluations to ensure product compliance
- Develop mechanical specifications and select appropriate components
- Plan and execute physical test campaigns, documenting and reporting findings
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver engineering solutions
- Identify areas for continuous improvement, helping to enhance product design and performance
- Work within an established project management framework to deliver high-quality results on time
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas or similar)
- Experience using 3D CAD and able to produce calculations on designs
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application
- Experience in mechanical design, testing and analysis
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience of qualification and validation processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
