From raw material to aftermarket support, their mission is to engineer smarter, safer and more reliable components that shape the future of aerospace. We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the NPI Team in Cheltenham, Gloucester.
- Lead and support the design of hydraulic and electro-mechanical products for aerospace platforms
- Shape engineering best practices and influence technical strategy
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Min 5 years’ experience designing gears, hydraulic or electro-mechanical components in aerospace
- Aerospace regulatory and standards knowledge
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 2D/3D CAD tools
- Solid understanding of: reliability & safety/airworthiness, design for manufacture, materials, stress and mechanical design, GD&T, DFMEA, and quality processes
- Ability to travel to different locations in UK and abroad
