This automotive first tier manufacturer is looking to attract into their operations team a Materials Scheduler who will proactively manage customer orders to ensure they are received on time and in full.
Typical responsibilities within the key role of Materials Scheduler will be to: –
- Produce the weekly materials schedules in line with factory capabilities, lead times and customer demand.
- Closely monitor incoming customer schedules, reporting on demand movements.
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring customers are kept up to date on order progress.
- Liaise with production, sales and purchasing re any issues/changes to customer supply and demand.
- Maintain system information to ensure accurate stock data and material availability.
The successful candidate will: –
- Have a logical approach.
- Be experienced in supply chain operations.
- Be a strong communicator.
- Have worked within a manufacturing operation.
